CONSTITUTION: Each flexible plate 2 of a micro gripper receives the Lorentz's force corresponding to the direction of the current and the direction of the magnetic field. The flexible plates 2 are curved upward or downward in response to the Lorentz's force. At this stage, direction and largeness of the current to be applied to each coil layer 3 can be separately supplied. This micro gripper is opened and closed by controlling the operation of the pair of flexible plates 2. At the time of gripping a material to be gripped with a micro gripper with fine thermocouple, temperature of the material to be gripped can be measured by measuring the thermoelectromotive force, which is generated between a first conductor 5 and a second conductor 6, with a detecting unit 9.
