CONSTITUTION: A hyman urogastrone gene of the direct manifestation type having nucletide arrangement shown by the formula, or a gene obtained by adding a translation termination signal (TAA, TGA) to the gene, or a gene obtained by adding a restricted enzyme recognition arrangement to the gene is synthesized by a chemical method, it is introduced into a vector such as pSM9001, etc. made from pIN-I-A1 and pMCR, and Escherichia coil such as E.coliHB101, etc. is transformed by using the prepared recombined plasmid. The recombinant is cultivated by a well-known method to give the desired substance.
