PURPOSE: To connect an internal ROM, internal RAM, and extended modules ROM and RAM to a CPU at the same time and to access them, by separating addresses of internal ROM, and RAM from these of others.
CONSTITUTION: The address space of a function module 14 is searched in the beginning of operation to detect the discrimination signal of the function module and writing and reading to and from a specific address of a data module 17 are performed to confirm the presence of the data module. When the function module 14 is connected, the program in the function module 14 is executed; if an instruction word "SYSTEM" is found during the execution, the program in the internal ROM2 is executed and further when an instruction word "CAP" is found during the execution, a return to the function module 14 is made. Data are stored freely in the internal RAM3 and the RAM of the data module 17, and the data in the RAM3 is transferred to and stored in the RAM of the data module 17.
