Title:
MICROSTRIP ANTENNA WITH SOLAR BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0715230
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an antenna which makes power generation possible caused by a solar battery and radio wave radiation caused by the microstrip antenna.

CONSTITUTION: A solar battery 8a is arranged through an insulated layer 6 on a microstrip patch 1 of the microstrip antenna, and a solar battery 8b is arranged on a dielectric substrate 2 except for a valid radio wave radiating area along the outer peripheral part of the microstrip patch 1. The solar battery 8a on the microstrip patch 1 and the solar battery 8b on the dielectric substrate 2 are connected by lead wires 10a and 10b passing a part where the leaked electric field of the microstrip antenna is zero.
