To provide an MSL plane array antenna in which power saving is promoted by decreasing the number of feeding antenna elements, an AT gain is improved, and a power feeding system is remarkably simplified by facilitating impedance matching between feeders.
In a plane antenna including feeding antenna counter elements comprised of feeding antenna elements which are disposed on one principal surface of a dielectric substrate as a microstrip line type and to which high-frequency power is supplied from a power feeding system and parasitic elements which are disposed on a front surface to be a radiation plane side in counter to the feeding antenna elements and paired with the feeding antenna elements, parasitic counter elements to which faces of a pair of parasitic elements are opposed, on the same plane as the feeding antenna elements and the parasitic elements, are disposed adjacently to the feeding antenna counter elements, and the parasitic counter elements are disposed, with respect to the feeding antenna elements, in the direction of electric interface or magnetic interface of electromagnetic waves radiated from the feeding antenna elements.
