Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mirror-surface-polish a stainless steel plate uniformaly and to an upper class grade without lowering polishing efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A stainless steel plate 14 moved by a carriage 12 is polished by a dry type buff roll polishing device 18 at the front stage, and polished by a wet type belt polishing device 20 at the rear stage. A buff roll 18A and an endless belt 21 are both driven in the longitudinal direction of the stainless steel plate 14, to polish over the whole width of the stainless steel plate 14.
