PURPOSE: To reduce cost sharply of the titled operation by a method wherein the disused material having a high calorific value (hereinafter called material A) is burned in an incinerator, the resultant exhaust gasses are introduced into a drying furnace so as to dry the disused material having a high rate of moisture content therein (hereinafter called material B) and the dried disused material thus produced is supplied into the incinerator so as to be burned together with the material A.
CONSTITUTION: Material A is burnt in an incinerator, the produced exhaust gas is charged into a drying oven supplied with material B for drying. Then the dried material B is burnt together with the material A, and after processing the then produced exhaust gas by an exhaust processing system, it is discharged into the atmosphere. By employing such an incineration method, only a single system is sufficient enough for the total system including an incinerator, exhaust gas processing and processes to follow thereafter. Because said procedure is to utilize the exhaust gas produced by burning the material A for preheating the material B, and it is burnt by the heat energy of burning the material A, the fuel which has been necessary for burning the material B in the conventional system is unnecessitated, a remarkable cost reduction can be realized.
