Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine, a vehicle and a mixed fuel supply method for the internal combustion engine capable of supplying mixed fuel, which is a mixture of liquid fuel and liquefied gas fuel, to the internal combustion engine using a fuel supply system and a fuel injection system of the liquid fuel without significantly changing the same.SOLUTION: A mixed fuel supply system has a DME tank (liquefied gas fuel storage tank) 14 for storing DME and a DME supply passage (liquefied gas supply passage) 15 for supplying DME in addition to a configuration of a conventional diesel supply system 8. In the mixed fuel supply system, the DME supply passage 15 is connected to a transfer passage 7 between a feed pump 4 and a fuel injection pump 6a and has a flow control valve 16. Mixed fuel, with a DME supply amount Qadjusted by the flow control valve 16 so that a weight ratio of the same is about 10% of a total mixed fuel supply amount Q, is mixed in the transfer passage 7, transferred to the fuel injection pump 6a and injected through an injector 5.
