A separation device 100 includes: a chamber 12 (an example of a container); a spray nozzle 8 (an example of spray means) spraying a mixed liquid L containing a first liquid and a second liquid having a higher boiling point than that of the first liquid into the chamber 12; a chain guide member 30 (an example of a liquid-drop guide member) that is provided within the chamber 12, and along which the mixed liquid L adhering onto a surface of the chain guide member 30 drops; a heated-gas supply unit 13 (an example of heated-gas supply means) supplying heated gas H having a higher boiling point than that of the first liquid into the chamber 12, heating the mixed liquid L, and evaporating the first liquid; and a separator 16 (an example of separation means) separating the second liquid, as a second liquid CL, from mixed gas G containing the first liquid in a gaseous state that is discharged from a discharge port 12A provided on the chamber 12.
