Abstract:
To provide a mixture for asphalt pavement and a method for producing the same, in order to strengthen asphalt pavement.SOLUTION: Asphalt pavement is provided by laying an asphalt mixture. The asphalt mixture is a mixture of aggregate and asphalt. The aggregate and asphalt constituting the mixture are bonded at their contact interface through a silane coupling agent. As a result of bonding, the asphalt mixture shows improved properties, enabling pavement using the mixture to be strengthened. In order to facilitate a coupling reaction at the contact interface between silica and asphalt in the aggregate, the silane coupling agent is used as a coupling agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
