PURPOSE: To improve light stability by allowing a polymeric dye image receptive layer to have a thermal transfer image consisting of the repeating pattern of pigment and using a mixture of specified yellow dye and magenta dye as the pigment.

CONSTITUTION: The polymeric dye image receptive layer has a thermal transfer image consisting of the repeating pattern of pigment, and the pigment is the mixture of a yellow dye expressed by formula I or II and showing a red color and a magenta dye expressed by formula III. In formulas I and II, R1 is hydrogen, 1-10C alkyls, 5-7C cycloalkyls, etc., R2 is 1-10C alkyls, 5-7C cycloalkyls, etc., R3 and R4 are the atom or atomic group mentioned in the item of R1, and either of them is hydrogen. In formula III, R8 and R9 are hydrogen, 1-6C alkyls or allyl group, etc., R7 is hydrogen, 1-6C alkyls, 5-10C aryls, etc.
