Abstract:
To provide a mobile communication apparatus that reduces electric waves which are radiated to a human body and prevents antenna gain from being reduced during a wait state.
The mobile communication apparatus comprises a nondirectional antenna 1, a directional antenna 2, a transceiver unit 9, a changeover switch 8 for switching a connection state between the nondirectional antenna 1 and directional antenna 2 and the transceiver unit 9, and a control circuit 10 for controlling the changeover switch 8, wherein the control circuit 10 controls the changeover switch 8 depending on how the mobile communication apparatus is used, and the nondirectional antenna 1 is connected to the transceiver unit 9 during the wait state.
