Abstract:
To reduce unnecessary traveling for charging a battery.SOLUTION: A residual amount detection unit 11a detects a residual amount of charge in a battery 1y. Charging units 11, 12 charge the battery 1y with electric power supplied from an outlet by being electrically connected to the outlet. A travel control unit 5c travels a traveling unit 4 to a position where a person is detected as being by a human detection sensor 7c or to a position where a person has been detected in the past by the human detection sensor 7c when the residual charge of the battery 1y is detected as being lower than an allowable residual amount. Following detection of the residual charge of the battery 1y being lower than the allowable residual amount, a notification unit 5f executes a notification process requesting that the charging units 11, 12 be connected to an outlet upon detection of a person by the human detection sensor 7c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
