To provide a moving body which can protect a passenger from an injury caused by contact with a traveling surface when the passenger falls down in such a way that the passenger is thrown out from the moving body.
The moving body 10 includes a vehicle body 36 on which the passenger boards, a support 28 extending upward from the vehicle body 36, first and second wheels 18 rotating around an axis orthogonal to a traveling direction of the vehicle body 36 and arranged at both sides so as to sandwich the vehicle body 36 along the orthogonal direction, a control part 14 for controlling the drive of the first and second wheels 18 to control a position of the vehicle body 36, an air bag 22 attached so as to be expanded forward in the traveling direction from the support 28 at a position between the passenger 38 and the traveling surface 30 when the passenger 38 boarding on the vehicle body 36 is thrown out forward in the traveling direction and an expanding part 202 for expanding the air bag 22.
