Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified diene polymer composition which is a rubber composition for side wall, and has excellent balance among rolling resistance characteristics, workability and cutting resistance of a vulcanizate and fatigue resistance.SOLUTION: A modified conjugated diene polymer composition is a diene polymer composition which contains 30-70 pts.mass of a rubber component (a) containing a modified conjugated diene polymer (a1) having a weight average molecular weight Mw by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) of 200,000-3,000,000, 30-70 pts.mass of at least one rubbery polymer (b) selected from natural rubber, high-cis-polybutadiene rubber and polyisoprene, and a silica inorganic filler (c), where the rubber component (a) contains 20 mass% or more of the polymer component (a1) based on the component (a), and the component (a1) contains 0.25-30 mass% of the modified conjugated diene polymer having a molecular weight of 2,000,000 to 5,000,000 with respect to the total amount of the component (a1), and has a contraction factor of less than 0.64 and a degree of branch of 5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
