Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an isocyanate polyaddition product having toughness enhanced against the same height dimensional stability, high rigidity, chemical resistance and heat resistance.
CONSTITUTION: Modified polyisocyanate is one containing 10-45 wt.% of an NCO group and consists of a polyisocyanate component (a) essentially composed of org. polyisocyanate liquid at room temp. containing 15-50 wt.% of an NCO group and 2-100% by wt. of the component (a) of a polymer modifier (b) composed of at least one graft rubber dispersed in the component (a) in a swollen form and a novel process for producing the modified polyisocyanate is disclosed.
