PURPOSE: To easily obtain the title molding which is excellent in adhesiveness and surface hydrophilicity, by impregnating a polyvinylidene fluoride molding with a specified grafting component and applying electron beams thereto.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. polyvinylidene fluoride molding is impregnated with 0.1W50pts.wt. one or more members of grafting component (e.g. methyl methacrylate) selected from among (meth)acrylic acid monomer and/or its oligomer having a molecular weight of at most 1,000, and alkyl acrylate monomer and/or its oligomer having a molecular weight of at most 1,000 at 40W100°C, and the resultant is irradiated with 0.5W50Mrad electron beams to give the title molding having a surface layer of a polyvinylidene fluoride graft copolymer having a thickness of 1W500μm, a polymerization degree of 1W200 and one or more members of graft chains selected from among a (meth)acrylic acid unit and an alkyl acrylate unit esterified with a 1W4C alkyl group.
