PURPOSE: To improve heat distortion temperature without generating deformation such as expansion and blister in a molded form by heating an LCP resin molded form having a heat distortion temperature of above a specified temperature with a limited temperature range lower than the heat distortion temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A resin molded form consisting of melt processing polyester (liquid crystalline polyester) which forms anisotropic melting phase and/or polyesteramide (both will be abbreviated to LCP) is heated at a temperature which is within a range lower by 80°C-31°C than a heat distortion temperature before the resin molded form is treated with heat. As for the heating time, 75 hours or more is not effective, rather lowering an impact strength due to aging of the LCP. In general, 10 minutes or more and at least 30 minutes or more is necessary, preferably 3 hours or more, and further preferably 17 hours or more. With such a heat treatment, generation of expansion and blister in the molded form can be prevented.
