Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure alignment of mold assemblies on the fixed and movable sides and to prevent scoring of a guide post.
SOLUTION: The present mold has a first support plate, a first specular plate, a first guide ring 19, a second support plate, a second specular plate, a second guide ring 38, a guide post 84 fitted to the first guide ring 19 and a guide bush 88 fitted to the second guide ring 38. The first and second guide rings 19 and 38 have flow passages for temperature regulation provided for supplying a medium for temperature regulation. The amounts of thermal expansion of the first and second guide rings 19 and 38 are made equal and therefore the guide post 84 can be advanced smoothly into a guide hole formed by the guide bush 88.
