Abstract:

To prevent the dropping in the case of separating a molded product from a mold and the deformation and the damage to the molded product from happening.

A mold opening/closing device 2 used for this casting method, is held of a fixed mold having a cavity for forming the molded product and a movable mold 11 and horizontally shifts the movable mold 11 in the mold opening/closing direction. Further, this mold opening/closing device 2 is provided with a main body 21, a fixed board for holding the fixed mold, a movable board 23 horizontally movable in the mold opening/closing direction, a main driving source 26 horizontally shifting the movable board 23 in the mold opening/closing direction, a swing plate 25 for holding the movable mold 11 by arranging so as to be vertically swingable in the movable board 23 and a swing driving source 27 for turning the movable mold 11 held with the swing plate 25 under vertical state to the horizontal state by vertically swinging the swing plate 25.
