Abstract:

To provide a mold for the vulcanization molding of a tire which molds a vulcanized tire not causing the occurrence of burr or crack even if the parting line position between sectors comes to a groove extending in the cross-sectional direction of a tire profile.

When the parting line position Xa-Xa between the sectors 2a and 2b comes to the groove 6 extending in the cross-sectional direction of the tire profile, a groove bottomed-up part 5a, which continues so as to straddle the parting line position Xa-Xa, is formed to the groove 6 and a chamfered part 7 having a curved surface shape is further formed to the corner part 6R of the groove bottomed-up part 6a. The chamfered part 7 of the corner part 6R is set so that the maximum radius center O is set at least at the parting line position Xa-Xa between the sectors 2a and 2b.
