PURPOSE: To obtain the titled based material mainly suitable for automotive instrumental panels, etc., by forming a pattern consisting of a specific coated part and uncoated part on a rigid base material using a specified adhesive having an adhesive force comparable to that of a double-sided adhesive tape by screen printing.
CONSTITUTION: A pattern consisting of a coated part 1', having ≥30μ coating thickness, accounting for 40W95% of the surface area of the coated range and uniformly distributed over the whole and an uncoated part 2' distributed to be present in squares having each side of 1W10mm length is formed on one surface of a rigid base material 1' using an adhesive 2 by screen printing. An adhesive consisting of 100pts.wt. copolymer, derived from 99.9W85pts.wt. unsaturated carboxylic acid ester monomer and 0.1W15pts. wt. vinyl monomer having a crosslinking group and having ≤-20°C glass transition temperature (Tg), 70W400pts.wt. solvent and 0.01W20pts.wt. crosslinking agent is used as the above-mentioned adhesive 2 by the above-mentioned method. In the above- mentioned screen printing, a screen having an emulsion layer, having 50W200μ thickness and corresponding to the pattern on a screen having 80W120 mesh is used to afford the aimed base material.
