Abstract:

To provide a method that enables super parallel computing using biochemical molecules other than DNA and the like.

The method includes a step 30 of coding combination elements in a given combinatorial problem having constraints on the solution in a sequence of a plurality of types of porphyrin metal complexes, a step 34 of preparing a set of sequences of porphyrin metal complexes corresponding to the codes produced in the coding step 30, a step of inputting the set of sequences of porphyrin metal complexes into a reaction vessel 42 to cause self-organization, a step 52 of selecting a structure 50 meeting the constraints on the given combinatorial problem from those self-organized in the reaction vessel 42, and a step 54 of decoding the codes of the sequences of porphyrin metal complexes forming the structure obtained in the selection step to produce the solution to the given combinatorial problem.
