Abstract:
To perform the structure analysis of as many similar structure molecules as possible under the constraints of sample quantity and time.SOLUTION: Provided is a system for analyzing the structure of similar structure molecules. The system comprises: a mass analysis unit (1); desired mass spectrum peak selection units (240, 25, 22); reference spectrum acquisition units (3, 242, 25, 4) for acquiring a peak reference MSn spectrum from a preliminarily prepared information source; a control unit (20) for repeatedly executing an MSn analysis on a sample, using an ion having m/z in one peak among selected peaks as a precursor ion, as well as terminating repetition of the MSn analysis when a command described later is received; and spectrum assessment units (21, 23) for integrating the data with which MSn analysis is carried out, assessing the similarity of a measured MSn spectrum to the reference MSn spectrum, and outputting a command for analysis termination to the control unit when it is assessed that the similarity is high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
