Abstract:
To provide a molten metal feed device, while suppressing the reduction in the temperature of a molten metal in an injection sleeve, capable of measuring the feed amount of the molten metal to the injection sleeve.SOLUTION: A molten metal feed device 20 comprises a ladle 21 receiving a molten metal 5, a ladle movement mechanism 22 pumping up the molten metal 5 from a molten metal furnace 4 into the ladle 21 and moving the ladle 21 so as to pour the pumped-up molten metal 5 into an injection sleeve 3, a molten metal detection part 23 detecting the molten metal 5 pumped-up into the ladle 21 before the pouring of the molten metal into the injection sleeve 3 and a control part 40 acquiring the molten metal amount M in the ladle 21 based on the detected result of the molten metal detection part 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
