A displaying part 2 receives an instruction from a controlling part 10 and displays amount information in an IC card 4. An IC card reader/ writer 3 reads the amount information in the IC card 4 and writes the amount information to the controlling part 10. A paper money discriminating device 5 stores and discriminates paper money 6 and transfers amount information to the controlling part 10. A printer 7 receives a printing instruction from the controlling part 10 and prints a receipt. A radio communication unit 8 transmits data such as stored amount information to a host installed at a remote place outside. A DC power source part 9 supplies power. The controlling part 10 controls the displaying part 2, the IC card reader/writer 3, the paper money discriminating device 5, the printer 7 and the radio communication unit 8. The controlling part 10 also receives the amount information from the IC card reader/writer 3 and the paper money discriminating device and stores the amount information.
