Abstract:

To ensure information security while making the information stored by storage media available even when a circuit board is replaced.SOLUTION: A money processor 10 includes a sending unit 310, a transport unit 40, a receiving unit 330, an identification unit 320, and a mounting unit 590 where a first circuit board 501 or a second circuit board 502, to which a storage medium 70 storing information used for money processing is mounted and which performs money processing, is removably mounted. The first circuit board holds a first key, which is an encryption and decryption key unique to the first circuit board, and the second circuit board holds a second key, and the first circuit board and the second circuit board hold a third key, which is a common key. In the management method, the first circuit board encrypts the information by the first key and stores the encrypted information in the storage medium, and the second circuit board encrypts the first key by the third key and stores the encrypted first key in the storage medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
