Abstract:
To provide a currency processing device that enables an operator to easily recognize handling of currency removed from a conveyance path when an error occurs.SOLUTION: A bill processing machine 1 includes: a control unit 28 that counts bills as either an internally managed currency, payment of which has been established or an externally managed currency, payment of which has not been established; and an illumination unit 29 that, in order to enable a remaining currency left in a machine body 2 due to an error occurred in payment processing to be determined as the internally managed currency or the externally managed currency, emits light in different modes between a case in which the remaining currency corresponds to the internally managed currency and a case in which the remaining currency corresponds to the externally managed currency, in the vicinity of the remaining currency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
