To provide a monitoring device for industrial equipment attaining rapid maintenance even if the equipment is installed in a remote place.
The monitoring device 107 connected to the industrial equipment 106 through an LAN 109 to monitor the industrial equipment is configured to acquire status information that shows the trouble condition of the industrial equipment through the LAN, to transmit the status information to a management device 108 for performing centralized control of maintenance of the industrial equipment through the Internet, to receive response information transmitted through the Internet from the management device in response to the notice and to correct the software of the industrial equipment based on the response information.
