Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin hardened product having a high hardness, a high elasticity and high heat-resisting performance necessary for coating agents and molding materials and unattainable with one organic and/or one inorganic compound or their mixture, and high transparency.
SOLUTION: The subject resin composition comprises (a) a monomer containing colloidal silica in which the colloidal silica and a compound having a (meth)acryloyl group and an isocyanate group, dispersed in an organic solvent, are bonded through a urethane bond or (b) a monomer containing colloidal silica in which the colloidal silica and an isocyanate compound consisting of a polyisocyanate having two or more isocyanate groups in which at least one of the isocyanate groups is introduced by a polymerizable unsaturated group are bonded through a urethane bond. The subject product is formed by polymerizing (a) or (b) or copolymerizing (a) or (b) with a polymerizable compound.
