Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain higher performance, higher heat resistance, higher output, and downsizing.
SOLUTION: A motor for drive of a vehicle is constituted by supporting a stator having a coil to the inside periphery of a frame 16, and supporting a rotor rotatably via bearings 7 to the side plate 16a on one end side of the frame 16 and the mirror cover 17 on the other end side of the frame 16 and connecting a driver to the rotor. First fins 18a roughly parallel with the travelling direction of the vehicle are attached at least to one piece each to the section of the side plate 16a and the section lower than the line of axis in the roughly horizontal direction of the motor body, and in the roughly horizontal direction of the motor body of the mirror cover 17 lower than the line of axis; and second fins 18b are attached radially around the axial core line in the roughly horizontal direction of the motor body, at the section of the side plate 16a upper than the axial core line in the roughly horizontal direction of the motor body, and at the section of the mirror cover 17 upper than the line of axis in the roughly horizontal direction of the motor body.
