Title:
MOTOR-DRIVEN TWO-WHEEL SKATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06329069
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inhibit the rotation of a motor except in the case of a riding setup so as to improve safety by providing a motor-driven two-wheel skate with a driving wheel, a steering wheel and a base with a battery disposed, and interposing start permission switches in a closed circuit formed of the battery and the motor.

CONSTITUTION: Start permission switches, that is, a step switch 17 and lateral grip switches 18, 19, are interposed in series in a closed circuit formed of a battery 9 and a motor 2. As a result, even if a rider gets on a base 1 without a riding setup through his carelessness or the like and operates an accelerator 7, travel is inhibited since either of the start permission switches is not closed. Because of being provided on the base, the start permission switches are put in action only in the case of the rider surely getting on the base 1, and an imperfect ride inhibits travel since the start permission switches can be closed only by the specified weight or more. In addition, since a handle is also provided with a start permission switch, the accelerator 7 cannot be operated unless the rider surely gets on the base and grips the handle.
