Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device for valve timing control of an internal combustion engine in which an accuracy/responding performance of a rotational speed when a motor rotational speed is reduced or a motor rotation is reversed can be improved.SOLUTION: When a target value of rotational period of a motor 15 is indicated as indicated rotational period TR, an EDU 14 causes a rotational control part 20 to calculate a duty ratio of PWM signal for driving the motor 15 on the basis of the indicated rotational period TR and an actual rotational period TM of the motor 15 and output a result of calculation to a motor driving part 22. At this time, when the result of calculation where a duty ratio of PWM signal becomes positive is attained, the rotational control part 20 outputs an instruction signal to the motor driving part 22 so as to cause the motor 15 to be rotated in an actual rotating direction and in turn when the result of calculation where the duty ratio of PWM signal becomes negative is attained, the rotational control part outputs the instruction signal to the motor driving part 22 so as to cause the motor 15 to be rotated in an opposite direction to the actual rotating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
