Title:
MOTOR OPERATED TOOTHBRUSH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05237014
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To allow brushing of the teeth with proper load thereon by constituting of a load detecting means which detects load on a brush, and an indicating means which indicates whether the load is proper or not depending on the detected load.

CONSTITUTION: With a slide switch on, a motor 6 actuates and a driving shaft 15 reciprocates axially along with a toothbrush 17. A brush 17a is applied to the teeth to clean the same. Between both ends of a resistor 45, a voltage in proportion to a current flowing through the motor 6 is applied and is inputted into minus input terminals of both comparison devices 50, 51. When the voltage between both ends of the resistor 45 is lower than the reference voltages respectively set in the comparison devices 50, 51, they 50, 51 develop high output, and the 1st AND circuit 52 is on, and the 1st transistor 58 is on through a resistor 57. The 1st diode 37 lights up and emits yellow light, thus to inform the load of the brush 17a applied to the teeth is below the proper load.
