Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cooling device for the engine of a scooter, with which effective cooling can be made by introducing sufficient wind due to running to the engine whether the scooter is running at a low or a high speed.

CONSTITUTION: An air introducing duct 10 for cooling the engine of a scooter is installed extending backward of the body having an air intake 9 opening ahead near the lower leg shield 8, and the tail of this duct 10 is arranged facing at distance an opening 14 in a fan cowling 13 leading to the suction hole 12 of a cooling fan, and the air is taken in directly from the opening 14 under the low speed running and introduced to the fan cowling 13 via the duct 10 during the high speed running.
