Title:
MOUNT STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE ANTENNA AND MOUNT METHOD FOR VEHICLE ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812503
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly realize a desired radiation gain in a horizontal direction when mounting a planar antenna on a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A hole 13 is formed to a body 12 and the planar antenna 14 is placed so that its parts corresponding to inner circumferential parts 13a, 13b of the hole 13 are placed between a radiation element 15 and a ground plate 16. Since an electric field E is produced so that the electrical lines of force emitted from the radiation element 15 is formed orthogonal to a position in the body 12 and close to the planar antenna 14, the component of the electrical lines of force acting in a vertical direction is not reduced and the antenna can maintain the directivity in the horizontal direction so as to properly realize the desired radiation gain in the horizontal direction.
