The front and rear surfaces of an insertion section 11 of the mounting structure of a music stand, which mounts the music stand 6 on a musical instrument body 1 by inserting the insertion section 11 of the musical stand 6 into a mounting groove 10 of the musical instrument body 1 which is a music stand support, are provided with a pair of protrusions 12 and 13 at a prescribed spacing S1 along the longitudinal direction of the mounting groove 10 and the mounting groove 10 is formed longer than the insertion section 11. The front within this mounting groove 10 is provided with a first abutment section 14 and the back thereof is provided with a second abutment section 15 in a position different from the first abutment section 14. Then, if the one protrusion 13 of the insertion section 11 is inserted to the second abutment section 15 of the mounting groove 10 correspondence thereto, the music stand 6 inclines to a prescribed angle and if the other protrusion 12 is inserted to the first abutment section 14 in correspondence thereto, the music stand 6 tilts at the angle different from the angle. As a result, the tilt of the music stand 6 may be changed according to the player's liking simply by shifting the insertion position of the insertion section 11 to the mounting groove 10.
