Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a movable body comprising plural omnidirectional movement wheels.SOLUTION: A movable body 1 comprises: four omnidirectional movement wheels 11 provided on a circumference 30 with an equal interval; four motors 12 for respectively driving four omnidirectional movement wheels 11; and four speed reducers 13 whose input shaft 21 is connected to the motor 12, and whose output shaft 22 which is not coaxial to the input shaft 21 is connected to the omnidirectional movement wheel 11, in which a rotation surface of the omnidirectional movement wheel 11 by the motor 12 is a tangential direction of the circumference 30. Since the input shaft 21 and the output shaft 22 of the speed reducer 13 are not coaxial, so that the motors 12 hardly interfere in the vicinity of the center of the circumference 30, and the movable body 1 can be reduced in size, relative to a case in which, a speed reducer in which the input shaft and the output shaft are coaxial is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
