To make it possible to adjust the angles of a lighting fixture with higher efficiency and definitely and use widely the upper space by providing extendingly a pair of rails on a ceiling of a stage and housing a gondola and moving the gondola loaded with workers.
A pair of rails 2 are provided extendingly on the ceiling of a stage 1 all over the space from the upper part to the lower part. A plurality of buttons which suspend a lighting fixture on both sides of the rails 2 are arranged near the rails 2 so that they may be suspended from the ceiling 5. A sprocket 5 is mounted on the central part of a rotary shaft 14 fixed with a frame at the uppermost part of the gondola 3 so that it may be engaged with a chain extendingly provided on parallel to the rails 2, thereby moving the gondola along the rails 2 by turning a handle 22 manually with a sprocket fixed with near both ends of the rotary shaft 14 by way of a chain 19. A worker gets in the gondola 3 from a fixed gallery 26 provided on both ends of the rails 2 so as to adjust a lighting fixture. After the adjustment is over, the gondola 3 is housed in the fixed gallery 26.
