Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the instability of a plasma and the localized temperature increase on a limitter head, by fitting a movable limitter with a gas supply port in connection with a gas source, and driving the limitter outwards away from the center of a vacuum container at the moment when the plasma is set up.
