This movement body 100 includes: a vehicle body 10; right and left drive wheels 13, 12; a control means 19 for controlling the drive wheels 12, 13; and the auxiliary wheel 16 arranged at a front side or a rear side of the drive wheels 12, 13. The control means 19 controls the drive wheels 12, 13 so that the vehicle body 10 is inclined to a side where the auxiliary wheel 16 is arranged when the auxiliary wheel 16 is not grounded. Thereby, in a state that attitude control for preventing the movement body from falling down is not performed even if the force for inclining the movement body is applied in the direction in which the auxiliary wheel is not present, the fall can be prevented.
