In a server-based computing system, a server device transmits a moving picture reproduced by a moving picture reproduction application, as screen information displayed on a display part of a client device (step B11 to B19). In such a case, when the server device detects that the moving picture is not normally displayed, for example, in the front of a window for moving picture display displayed on the display part of the client device, another window is displayed (step B22), the server device interrupts the reproduction operation of the moving picture (step B21).
