Abstract:
To provide an MRI device which can generate a wide and uniform magnetic field range when a high temp. superconductor is used as a superconductive magnet.
A space is bounded by a high temp. superconductor having a pin fastening effect, and a magnetic field is formed (S1, S2) from the peripheral zone of the superconductor so that the space has a desired magnetic field distribution, followed by cooling so that the superconductor is held in a high temp. superconductive condition. Then the desired magnetic field distribution is transcribed (S3, S4), and then the magnetic field around the superconductor is removed (S5, S6).
