PURPOSE: To provide writability and impression-printability on a recording face of a multi-color heat-sensitive recording sheet in a multi-color heat-sensitive recording apparatus wherein a multi-color heat-sensitive recording sheet having a plurality of color developing layers is heat-sensitively recorded.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of rollers 35 are positioned on the down stream side of a carrying system wherein a multi-color heat-sensitive recording sheet 12 is carried to a thermal head 38 and recessed and projected parts for forming a plurality of projections and recessions on the surface of the multi-color heat- sensitive recording sheet 12 are provided on the surface of one roller of the pair of the rollers 35 or a plurality of needle-like bodies for forming a plurality of fine holes are provided on the multi-color heat-sensitive recording sheet 12.
