PURPOSE: To perform correct processing, quickly detect abnormality, and improve processing efficiency by displaying many items such as processing conditions, processing time, and failure locations on a CRT with a dialogue system.

CONSTITUTION: Monitor items such as processing conditions, maximum acceleration, amplitude, polishing time, elapsed time, remaining time, rotating speed, phase angle of unbalance weight, centrifugal force, inclining moment, and failure locations of a barrel processing machine are partially measured by sensors and inputted to a CPU via a PPI. They are also calculated based on these outputs and displayed on a color display. Accordingly, correct processing can be performed by this display, an abnormal condition is quickly detected by the warning display at the time of abnormality and countermeasures can be taken, thus processing efficiency can be improved remarkably.
