Abstract:
To provide an integrated pressure regulator which possesses sufficient reliability to be suited to a high-demand environment and provides required pressure regulation and peripheral functions in a sufficiently light unit.SOLUTION: An integrated pressure regulator has three stages which are configured to reduce an extremely high tank pressure down to a typical operation pressure. The regulator is configured to supply a constant operation pressure until the tank pressure has been reduced nearly to the operation pressure per se. The stages of the pressure regulator are integrated in a main body and are configured to minimize a mass and a volume of the regulator. The regulator may include a heat trigger type pressure relief device for use in, for example, an aerial application, the heat trigger type pressure relief device having a trigger time adapted to improve the safety of a smaller cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
