Abstract:
To provide a bracket assembly having a lightweight and simple fitting device ready for various kinds of suspension members and including a large number of part fitting points.
A suspension system includes a main structural support such as an axle beam. A leaf spring is fitted to a longitudinal main frame extending parallel to the center line of a vehicle in order to attenuate the motion of the beam. The bracket assembly fits the beam to the leaf spring by holding the leaf spring therebetween. In addition, the bracket assembly provides a supporting body and a mount for an airbag and a shock absorbing member.
