Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an arc-extinguishing device of a circuit breaker by which time necessary up to extinction of arc is shortened by restraining an arc current.
CONSTITUTION: A main piece 16a of a yoke 16 is arranged on the under surface side of a contact point support piece 14c having a fixed contact point on an upper surface. Leg pieces 16b positioned on both sides of the fixed contact point are arranged on both side edges of the main piece 16a of the yoke 16. An arc traveling piece 16c projecting upward more than an upper surface of the contact point support piece 14c on the tip side of the contact point support piece 14c is arranged on the main piece 16a of the yoke 16.
