To smoothly and stably operate a device having a multi-joint slider link mechanism by suppressing the occurrence of a catching phenomenon (a galling phenomenon) at a rear end side joint part out of two adjacent joint parts, and preventing the unexpected stop of bending operation to smooth the operation of the mechanism.
This multi-joint slider link mechanism comprising a plurality of joint parts is constituted to start bending operation at the second joint part 51 on the rear end side after the termination of bending operation at the first joint part 50 on the tip side. At the adjacent first joint part 50 and the second joint part 51 bending to the same side, the magnitude of moment required to start the bending operation of the second joint part 51 is made larger than that of moment required for the bending operation of the first joint part 50. The respective joint faces of two frames constituting a joint part 51a of the second joint part 51 are formed as forward tapered faces so that a force is increased accompanied by bending operation.
