To prevent a phenomenon where heat is robbed by the suction air of an axial fan when heat is exchanged between the condensation side piping and the evaporation side piping of an outdoor unit during simultaneous cooling/ heating operation and heat exchanging efficiency is lowered.

An outdoor unit comprises a compressor for compressing refrigerant, an axial fan 8, and an outdoor heat exchanger 6 in which heating tubes 6b, 6c for two systems having end parts coupled through a U-tube are arranged while snaking such that they intersect fins 6a, arranged in parallel at a constant interval to the left and right, orthogonally. At the side end part of the fins 6a of the outdoor heat exchanger, a planar shield plate 10 for shielding a part of the suction air of the axial fan 8 is provided in the gap between the heating tube 6b serving as the condensation side refrigerant circuit and the heating tube 6c serving as the evaporation side refrigerant circuit.
